The Chill Lounge Bar & Restaurant is now open. Standing in what was the Reynolds nightclub (for those who remember going there!). You can contact them on 01785 220077. Hopefully we will be reviewing Chill soon.

The Rose of Kashmir Balti restaurant in Foregate Street is now a non smoking establishment (will this be the start of a trend in Stafford?).

Waterstone`s the book shop is opening on Saturday the 27th November in the Guildhall centre Tel: 01785 213989. There will be face painting, balloon modelling & magic for the kids!.

From 4th November-Thursday 11th November at the Apollo Cinema see The Grudge (15), Sharks Tale  (u), plus an advance preview of Bridget Jones:The Edge of reason (15) on Saturday, Sunday & Thursday. Music is alive and well, thank God, in Stafford!. The The Grapes.. still rocks for local talent and the jam nights. The Surgery.. has good bands that are worth a visit. Chicago Rock.. offers the usual very good tribute band and the occasional `so bad I cant belive it group! (but give it a try...).

One of theh ighlights are The Ultimate 60`s Show that should showcase tributes to the era`s stars: Thursday 4th November at the Gatehouse Theatre, Tel 01785 254653.
