Wedding Checklist!

Use this check list to help plan your big day! Please print this page for your convenience!

~Decide on a date, theme or style of wedding & the number of guests.
~If required book a wedding planner.
~Once decided book the venue/s.
~Book a caterer.
~Decide on the Best Man & Maid of Honour & make sure they know what their role will involve (e.g. a quiet person may not feel comfortable making a speech!)
~Book the photographer (& videographer if required) & make sure you & the photographer know what shots you want!

~Order the bride’s outfit & also the bridesmaids & pageboys outfits & any accessories that are required.
~Book your honeymoon & CHECK YOUR PASSPORT!!!
~Order the cake/ Chocolate Fountain etc.
~Arrange your chariots!
~Brides decide on hair & make-up, book appointments &/or stylists & a pre-wedding hair & make-up trial!
~Order invitations & other stationary.
~Plan decorations & book Florist.
~Decide on & book the entertainment (informing D.J.’s or bands of any special music requests).

~Make a wedding gift list, most big department stores have this service & can make life easier for you & your guests!
~Send out the invitations, don’t forget to include a menu (if applicable) maps & directions & gift list.
~Order the wedding rings.
~Arrange outfits for the Groom, Best Man & other attendants.
~Plan Hen & Stag parties whether it’s a night on the town or a weekend do!
~Make final menu & drink selections.

~Decide on a seating plan (if Auntie Mabel doesn’t get on with Uncle Bob, then it’s probably best not to sit them together!!)
~Brides it’s time for your hair & make-up trial!
~Arrange gifts & flowers for both Mums & attendants.

~Stop Panicking!!
~Make sure all your travel documents are ready for the honeymoon.
~Prepare speeches (& any props if neccessary!)
~Make sure all outfits fit (cut down on the pies if neccessary!!)
~Have a ceremony rehearsal.
~Pack an overnight bag for the wedding night if you’re staying at the hotel.
~Last but by no means least.................
