Thurs 1st May: Bluebell Woods near Yoxall. Saturday 19th April - Sunday 18th May 10:30am - 6:00pm, Bluebell Woods near Yoxall, next to Oakwood Pastures Nature Reserve. Admission: Adults £2.50; Children 5 - 16 years £1; Under 5's free.

Sat 3rd May: Dawn Chorus. 4:30am - 7:00am. Meet at Pear & Partridge car park, Perton. Walk led by Kevin Clements of the West Midlands Bird Club.

Sat 3rd-Mon 5th May: Wildlife Gardening Weekend. 11am - 5pm. Learn how to create a haven for wildlife in your own back garden! There will be a guided walk on Sunday 4th May with a £2 donation per person.

Tues 6th May: "Borrowpit Lake" Meet at Tamworth Snowdome car park at 7:15pm.

Tues 6th May: "Badgers" An illustrated talk by Bob Luzny at All Saints Church Hall, Branston Road, Burton, 7.30pm.

Wed 7th May: Dawn Chorus Walk from Lichfield Cathedral. Meet at Lichfield Cathedral at 4.30am. In partnership with Lichfield District Council.

Sun 11th May: Visit to Saltwells Nature Reserve. Meet at Saltwells Nature Reserve off Coppice Road, Quarry Bank, Dudley, 2pm.

Tues 13th May: "Hopwas Woods" Meet at The Tame Otter Pub at 7:15pm.

Fri 16th May: Bat Walk. Meet at College Hall, Lichfield Cathedral Close at 8.15pm.

Sun 18th May: Plant Sale at Broad Lea Farm. Broad Lea Farm, Meerbrook, Nr Leek, 10.30am. Plant & Garden stalls.

Sun 18th May: Walk at Carsington Reservoir. 10.30am with optional pub lunch at Miners Arms, Carsington. Meet at the Sheepwash car park at Carsington Reservoir.

Mon 19th May: Walk at Apedale Community Country Park. Meet at 7:15pm for 7:30pm start.

Tues 20th May: "Dunstall Lane" Meet at Bonehill Road at 7:15pm.

Wed 21st May: Everest of the Ganges" An illustrated talk by Peter Johnson at St Luke's Church Centre, Cannock, 7.30pm.

Wed 21st May: Cathedral Close Awards for All Project. Report evening to find out how the project is going, at St Mary's Centre, Lichfield, 7.45pm

Thurs 22nd May: "Caring for Hedgehogs" An illustrated talk by June Stevens, at Wombourne Community Centre, Wombourne, 7.30pm

Wed 21st May: Landor Local History Society. Lichfield Heritage Centre 7.00 pm, A visit to the Heritage Centre has been arranged to include the new exhibition entitled 'The L.ichfield Story'. The charge will be £5.00 per person and £1.45 per person extra for tea or coffee and biscuits. Advanced booking is required for this event.

Walk Wise. Organised by Stafford Borough Council, these walks are aimed at people who do little or no exercise & are led by trained Volunteer Walk Leaders. Anyone can join & it’s absolutley free, all they ask is that you wear comfortable footwear!!
